About Me

All About Miss Maully

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
-- Mark Twain --

Where do I start? I love EVERYTHING about life. I didn't used to though because I had a tough childhood and even tougher teenage years. I went through a lot of growing up and did a lot of self-improvement. Because of this, I am a literal Superwoman (This is the first time I have called myself this, I swear). I have a very POSITIVE outlook on life. I have forgiven but never forgotten, that is the first key to succeeding in this Game of Life. I'm chalk full of good advice, quotes and memorable experiences. But oh how I become so clueless when it comes to choosing a career...
I'm currently in college working on my Associates in Business Administration with an expected graduation of May 2014. I work full time in the restaurant industry, I am a mommy to my beautiful daughter Rosetta and the proud girlfriend to my high school sweetheart, Jake.

Look at that cute couple!
(And LOOK at that BELLY!)

What Have I Achieved & What Awards Have I Received?

My Reflections audio named Birdsong went to State when I was in grade school.
In middle school, my Reflections poem won Best Poem in the school level.
My Senior English Research Paper was chosen to become a sample for the following years. It was over the Sexualization of Women in the Media. ( I was sooo exited! Never had that happened to me before!)
During the summer of 2012 I interned for the Kansas City Magazine "Greenability", where I have had 4 articles published.
I have more followers on Pinterest than people I'm following (a FIRST for me in the world of Social Media).

Why did I begin this blog?

I began this blog with the same intentions I had for every OTHER blog and website I've started. THIS time I'm sticking to my guns. For cereal.
I want to be able to share all my DIY and crafts with you as well as my quirky fashion, family and fun. Eventually, I would like to make a profit from blogging. I would love to work from home to have time with my daughter and to do all the things I love to do!

What do I enjoy?

I love all things crafty, DIY, reading, history, Pinteresting, research, technology, classic movies, blasting music, shopping, organizing, interior design, photography, Facebook, writing, making my little Rose smile, cooking, cleaning, chores (who likes doing chores? this little lady!) dreaming and of course daydreaming, working, Pin-Up fashion, taking walks, art, museums, travel, creating, believing, politics, spirituality, Mother Earth, sustainability, Law and Order: SVU, the Walking Dead, HGTV, holidays, space, staying up late, nature, animals, my little babies Smokey, Callie, Lunar and Stormy. I'm a crazy cat lady and I'm proud of it! I am a little crazy...I talk to myself...that's ok, right?
I could go on...and on...and I will. I'm just so fascinated with EVERYTHING!

I love this little angel the most!

The camera just loves Rosetta!

Life is a lifelong learning experience. Why not have some fun along the way?
I believe in goal-setting, to-do lists, fashion and hobbies, I want to share my ideas with you! My family and I are just that interesting! As we grow together, my blog will document the little things that make my life worth living!

I love to connect with people, so head on over to my Contact page or contact me through one of my social media sites. I would LOVE to hear from you!

xoxo Miss Maully
